The Lanz Family
Lanz Truck Wash and Repair, owned by Robby, Monte, Regan, and Ron Lanz made their start in 2022 as a bio-secure livestock trailer washout and quickly expanded their company into truck maintenance and repair in early 2023.
However, their vision for this business began in 1997 with the development of Lanz Pork owned and operated by Robby, Monte, Regan, and Ron Lanz. From there, the family’s businesses began to expand like spokes on a wheel.
In 2005 they started, Lanz Trucking LTD for grain hauling purposes, then expanded to livestock as well. As of today, livestock hauling is the focus.
As their businesses grew, the cousins, hit the ground running by putting their plan in motion for the truck wash and repair shop. In June of 2022, the business started washing trucks and trailers, by the spring of 2023 they hired their first Mechanic, and the repair shop took on a life of its own.
Meet our technicians
JR Roth
JR has a degree in diesel technology from Kirkwood Community College and has over 18 years of experience in the field.
Charlie Heston
Charlie started working on diesel engines on his family farm, overhauling tractors and working on their equipment. After graduating high school, he started working for Wal-Mart Fleet Maintenance 1989 where he became certified in numerous fields, working his way from a tech 1 all the way to management, and winning several awards along the way. Charlie was also nominated three times for the Iowa Motor Truck Association Mechanic of the Year. He has over 35 year’s experience in the field.
Tyler Heston
Tyler came to us from the United States Navy as an E4 Petty Officer 3rd Class. He served on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower at the end of the Afghanistan war.
